01 - 12 mini Hawaiian sweet rolls, split horizontally
02 - 6 slices cheddar cheese, cut in half
03 - 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

04 - 6 slices deli ham, cut in half

05 - 2 tablespoons honey mustard
06 - 1 tablespoon mayonnaise

07 - 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
08 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh chives

# Directions:

01 - Heat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat until evenly hot.
02 - Whisk together honey mustard and mayonnaise in a small bowl until smooth and combined.
03 - Open each roll and spread a thin layer of honey mustard mixture on the cut sides. Place half a cheddar slice on each bottom half, add half a ham slice if desired, then cover with the roll tops.
04 - Spread softened butter on the outside top and bottom of each assembled sandwich. Place in the preheated skillet, press gently with a spatula, and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
05 - Remove from heat and immediately sprinkle with poppy seeds and chives if using. Serve warm.
